Look at the options
There are numerous kinds of loan available in the market at present, depending on your need, credit history and you eligibility to pay it back. And as the need for loans are increasing, the rate of interest is also increasing. However, you will be able to save a lot if you look at the options that are available for you in terms of interest rate and amount of money offered.
Pret immobilier is one of the best ways that can help you loan at a low interest rate and help you avoid Simulation pret too. You can take loan against your property, which will help you build your credit history too. These are termed as secured loans and therefore will come easy to you. So even if your loan application has been rejected previously due to the financial problem you are going through, you will still get the money through this.
This is usually taken as an option of borrowing money from the creditors as the rate of interest goes lower than the personal loan you might have trying to apply for. And why not save on the money that you otherwise, would have paid towards the high interest rate.
[News] Vaccine Shows Promise in Preventing HIV Infection

The first vaccine to show any sign of preventing the spread of HIV has provided the most encouragement since the 1990s in the three-decades quest to stem the global AIDS epidemic.
Results of a trial involving more than 16,000 adults in Thailand indicate the vaccine regimen was safe and reduced by 31% the chance of infection with the AIDS-causing human immunodeficiency virus, or HIV, according to the U.S. National Institutes of Health, which helped fund the study.
Though that 31% is modest, it has heartened public-health experts and scientists. It is the first time a vaccine has been shown to confer any HIV protection at all. Should this prove to be a forerunner to a usable vaccine, it would be the second big game-changer in AIDS research since the mid-1990s, when potent new “drug cocktails” — a mix of protease inhibitors and other anti-retrovirals — turned AIDS from a virtual death sentence into a chronic but manageable disease for many patients. – click here to read more from WSJ|Health
[News] Study: More Americans at Higher Risk of Heart Disease
Epidemiologists love to crunch numbers — and Americans, on the whole, love to ignore them. Even the most health-conscious among us soon grow numb to the storm of statistics warning us about rising levels of obesity or falling levels of exercise or all the other numerical indicators that tell us how unwell we’re getting. But on Sept. 14, a team of researchers released a new finding that should cause even the most data-weary folks alarm.
According to a paper published Monday in Circulation,a journal of the American Heart Association, fewer than 8% of all Americans can now be considered at low risk for heart disease. No one needs a statistician’s help to know that that means more than 92% of us are not as healthy as we could be, and that’s worth paying attention to.
The study was actually the latest in a series of studies, all of which have been part of a program known as the National Health and Nutrition Examination Surveys (NHANES). Administered by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the program is a four-decade attempt to evaluate the country’s health by conducting surveys and physical exams with a rotating sample group of about 10,000 Americans. The first NHANES study was conducted from 1971 to 1975, the second from 1976 to 1980, the next from 1988 to 1994, and the most recent — from which the heart-disease findings are only now being released — from 1999 to 2004.

Swine Flu Death Toll 816: WHO
The worldwide swine flu death toll now stands at 816, according to a bulletin released Monday by the World Health Organization.
Most of the victims (707) have been in the Americas, followed by the Asia-Pacific region (74) and Europe (34). There has been one death in the eastern Mediterranean region, which includes the Middle East and parts of northern Africa, Agence France Presse reported.
The WHO bulletin also said that several countries and territories have reported their first cases of swine flu since the previous bulletin on July 6.
So far, 134,503 cases of infection with the H1N1 swine flu virus have been reported to the agency, AFPreported. However, countries are no longer required to test and report individual cases, which means that latest figure “understates” the actual number of infections, the WHO said.

How to: Save a heart attack victim
You’re about to catch a train when a fellow passenger starts to complain of chest pain. You are worried he’s having a heart attack.
You call an ambulance, but next thing you know the man has collapsed – and he looks dead.
The only thing that will save him is an electric shock to his heart – and until help arrives, you need to keep the blood going to his brain and heart by doing the work of the heart for him using CPR.
Panic sets in – you did a first-aid course at school, but you can’t remember exactly what to do. And could you catch something when doing the ‘kiss of life’?
In fact, the advice on what you should do if you see an adult, not a child, suddenly collapse has changed. Yes, first call an ambulance.
But if you are not trained properly in CPR there’s no need to worry about the kiss of life or the bit about breathing into the patient’s mouth. All you need to do is the chest compressions.
